Phase 1: Historical Research

When you need to be informed about the risk of potential UXO presence within the boundaries of your project area, our team of academic historians and advisors are at your disposal to inventory, assess and evaluate the acts of war which have taken place at the project location.

Our team of experts use our historical database consisting of over 600.000 files including aerial photos, bombing reports, literature, (battle) reports and staff maps. We also use additional sources such as The National Archives (UK), National Archives and Records Administration (USA) and the Bundesarchiv-Militärarchive (GER).

A large amount of this documentation is processed in our Geographic Information System (GIS4REAS).
