REASeuro Competence Centre (RCC)
The REASeuro Competence Center (RCC) is the knowledge and expertise center of REASeuro and is responsible for the following themes:
- Certified exam institution in accordance with the WSCS-OCE *
- Education and Training through the care of the Training Center
- REASeuro knowledge base
- Research & Development
1. Certified exam institution in accordance with the WSCS-OCE.*
Certifying and examining students for the OCE industry:
The WSCS-OCE (Work field-specific certification scheme for Detection of Conventional Explosives) relates to the detection of conventional explosives that remained in the (water) soil after the First and Second World War. This field-specific certification scheme has been drawn up by the Certification Fireworks & Explosives (SCVE) foundation and established by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. The WSCS-OCE is anchored in the Working Conditions Act and in force for working in OCE suspect areas.
The national theoretical and practical exams – drawn up according to the WSCS-OCE – are administered at our training center. The practical exams take place on our training premises, where we also have an extensive range of (neutralized) ammunition samples available.

3. REASeuro Centre of Expertise
The REASeuro Centre of Expertise is available 24/7 for all questions in the field of explosives, both for internal and external customers. The Centre of Expertise acts as a knowledge broker to quickly provide any stakeholder with the answers on a wide array of ammunition-related topics.
The Centre makes use of the REASeuro database which contains:
- Ammunition database
- GIS database
- Knowledge base REASeuro with 20+ years of project experience in the field of conventional and improvised explosives
4. Research, Development & Innovation
The Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) department focuses on existing and future innovations in the detection of explosives. As founding father of the industry, REASeuro has been at the source of many new techniques and methods used in the industry. REASeuro’s aim is to remain positioned at the forefront in the industry through a continuous focus on improvement and innovation.
REASeuro prefers a role as inventor or early adopter of new or recently developed products, techniques or processes. Thanks to a strong network, extensive knowledge base and a position as an authority in the market, REASeuro remains well informed about current and future developments, market needs and where new products, techniques and working methods can make a difference. Where possible, partnerships are used to jointly tackle R&D projects.
