Project Risk Assessment
Phase 2: Project Risk Assessment
If the outcome of the historical research and desktop survey indicate evidence of possible presence of UXO within the project area, the advice is given to execute a Project Risk Assessment. This maps out any post-war activities performed within the UXO risk area. On the basis of factual source material, a horizontal and vertical demarcation will be determined in relation to the work you intend to do. Civil engineering, archaeological and environmental aspects will also be included.
If UXO mitigation and protective measures should be deemed necessary, the Project Risk Assessment includes advice on the best working practice to deal with this situation. Also advice is given on the operational timeline and the estimated budgets for the execution phase. As a result of the Project Risk Assessment, a definitive UXO suspect area has been delineated which can determine any potential implications for your project in terms of time, money and risks.
